Today at the lovely DI, I walked past this lovely thing... and she started calling my name. I bought her for 5 dollars and brought her home. 
I took apart the lining from the coat.
Messed with it a little and look what came out of it.....
So i got about a yard of the black and white checks and about 3/4 a yard of the lining for five dollars. Can't really beat that I think.
Is that not so adorable. Thank you to the lady that gave that coat away...

The rosette is made from the lining and the flare to the left is the coat.
(Love my model? yes it is my son. Gotta do what you gotta do right?)
