 I found this vintage looking mirror at the DI for $5. It was that really tacky brass color. It was covered with spider webs. But I looked past that and bought it anyway. I was planning on just painting it and keeping it as mirror in our bedroom. Then I saw this idea
I found this vintage looking mirror at the DI for $5. It was that really tacky brass color. It was covered with spider webs. But I looked past that and bought it anyway. I was planning on just painting it and keeping it as mirror in our bedroom. Then I saw this idea
and gave it a good coat. I had some square chicken wire laying around and I got to thinkin'. Once the paint was dry I then cut my wire to fit around the back on the frame. I hot glued the wire to the back.
 and waa-la!  My very own custom earring holder. Perfect for my closet! The idea (link) above, she uses a screen. With the screen you would be able to put all your studs up as well. My chicken wire is a little to big for that!

You could also do this for babies hair bows...

I love that earring holder. I've seen a few different ideas just using square frames...but I love the look of yours...now if only I could find such a fantastic mirror to paint...
