Hot Dr. Pepper for your Common Cold

Have you ever heard that a hot Dr. Pepper helps treat a cold? I never have until now, and to be honest, I just might be trying this out in the next couple days. Stuffy nose, check. Sore throat, check. Maybe its just spring fever....check?

Grab your favorite mug and fill it with Dr Pepper. Microwave until hot. Now, grab a lemon and squeeze some juice into your drink, followed by a slice or wedge of the lemon. The picture above shows an orange, so whatever you prefer. It will be fizzy, hot, and sweet. And supposedly, it works wonders.

Have a wonderful Monday!!

Trisha,

No worries! The Mr. had the same little cold and I'm sure that's where I got it! :)

I tried it and it definitely helped! My mom did it too and she doesn't even have the sore throat today.
